If I Could Turn Back Time
I would re-do my university years; apply myself and emerge with something of value the second time around. I also would have postponed attending university until I had matured and experienced more of the world first. Being away from home the first time, I was swept up in the usual cycle of partying, little sleep, more partying. This led to hastily cobbled together assignments, all nighters ,skipping classes and general chickening out and buggering off. Each semester I began with great intentions of academic achievement. By mid-term when the crunch came down, I usually began slacking off and heading to the campus pub. University records departments have long memories; the dreaded CGPA hung around my neck like an albatross. If there was an undergraduate degree in enjoying oneself immensely, I would have graduated with high honours!
